Hi and welcome to my second page of unusual cars pictures! Most of the cars on this page have an aquatic theme, but we start with one that is ideal for the beach....

This is what they do with old Hillmans in the California desert

A General Motors DUKW 6-wheel-drive amphibious truck. Fancy a bit of serious wading? Then this is your vehicle. The driver can even adjust the tyre pressures to cope with (say) a sandy beach without leaving his cab.

An early experiment in the 1950s to see how deep a (modified) Land Rover can go. Yes, the British Army really thought it was a "jolly good idea" at the time!
